Notes:

 The length of the walk is 5.5 miles.  Cars will be parked in the parking lot of Kingsway Regional High school. A shuttle bus will be running approximately every 1/2 hour until 3pm to take participants back to the parking lot.

Entry Fee:

 $20 for adults; $15 for 18 years & younger
 The entry fee includes a t-shirt, BBQ and games!

Our Cause: Greater Philadelphia Breast Cancer Transportation Fund


Dr. Renee Ruben founded the fund two years ago in order to help those who are unable to make it to their oncology appointments due to the expenses of transportation. This expense makes fighting this disease that much harder to overcome.

Wellshire's donation to the Greater Philadelphia Cancer Transportation Fund has already had a huge impact for the patients of Dr. Rene Rubin.

 

She has stated that " the transportation fund has had a huge impact for patient's coming to and from treatment." Most of the donations have gone towards cab voucher's for those patients who have logistical issues."

 

"We are so appreciative that Wellshire has given us the opportunity to help so many people with the transportation fund." Wellshire is proud to benefit a cause that is so near and dear to its heart.
